Friday Night Review

Hiya gang, well what a shame the weather was so horrendous on Friday, I hope everyone managed to survive unscathed. It  was a big shame but thanks to those who did brave the rain, I've pointed out recently we've had some amazingly talented people coming to the club, last week was no exception, we had the superb Stuart Warburton. Stuart is a local singer songwriter from Bury and has been around the world playing his music, he only played a few of his songs, but he truly was excellent and I hope we can have him at the club in the future on a guest night, watch this space so you don't miss him.!! A big thank you too to Ian Sproson, Steve Woolley and Stuart Thompson for providing a much needed distraction from dreary weather, I hope Steve and Stuart had a good time at the Droylsdem Folk Weekend also thank you to Kevin for helping with the practical side of the club, it really is appreciated.  Next club night is 6th July and is a guest night, our guest is the fabulous Mike Bowden it'll always an entertaining night with Mike, looking forward to having him back to his roots!!
