club update

Hi gang hope you're all ok, well this week is a guest night at the club and what a guest we have the absolutely brilliant singer songwriter comedian and comedy writer Kevin Seisay. If you were at the Xmas party he did a short spot for us, Kevin used to come to the club the first time and was really popular then and went on to write comedy sketches including Saturday Night Live and many more. I'm sure we are in for a good night, club opens at 20:30 hope to see you there, but I'm sure you'll kick yourself if you miss it, take care and see you Friday, luv Lxx

P.S. Although it's going to be cold outside, it's going to be warm with laughter inside lol!

club update

Hi gang I hope everyone had been a good Christmas and New Year and duly booked in their local Gym or searching for the easiest diet online lol!My advice don't bother people like you just for you. Well it's that time again the club reopens this week for it's fourth year well done you lot. This week is a singers musicians poets acoustic which basically means anyone can pretty much come to the club and do anything (within reason!) to entertain the audience we're an easy going bunch enjoy most things including a One man band' lol !! guest wise there are a few new face's and great surprise's so the ways to find out what's going on is keep involved on this page or the blog poster's and flyer's but the best way is to come along to the club. The club opens at 8.30pm I hope to see you there luv Lxx.

Sad News

Evening gang it is with great sadness yet again I have to inform you we have lost a true folky Vincent Short many will know him as one of the best if not the best bodrum player known. Vincent played in many musical session I knew him in a number of groups but many will know him from playing in Tony Butler's band Brigantis who played at the club first time around he was also known as he played the bodrum using the stump of his arm he had lost the lower part of his arm but that didn't stop him playing the last time I saw him was last July when he joined us going to Lourdes with Ian Sproson myself and the gang from Salford Cathedral I believe his funeral is on Tuesday at St Margaret Mary's church off Hollinwood Ave New Moston if I get any more info I will let you know luv Lxx Good night and God bless Vincent RIP
