Greeting everyone,
Lorna was unable to make it to the club on Friday
and asked me to stand in for her. It`s a long time since I did anything
like that and I felt a bit apprehensive about it. I relaxed a bit when I
saw that we had a few regular performers present. I started the
night by taking the dreaded first spot that a lot of singers hate. I was
followed by my son Gordon and then Ian, Rob and Jonny Rep took us to
the end of the first half. The second half kept to the same
routine until the end when I went back on and finished off a very
enjoyable evening with the old favorite Wild mountain thyme. Lorna can
relax in the knowledge that the club is still intact. She will probably
thank me for what I did but the people who really deserve the thanks are
Gordon, Ian Rob and Jonny. Get well soon Lorna. Jack.
