Friday night update

A huge thank you to our guest last Friday, the brilliant Garron Frith for such an entertaining night, unfortunately we had to close earlier than normal as landlady had forgotten to put the heating on as they'd had a funeral party of a regular going on in the pub all day but we found an odd kind of humour in that it had turned into a 'funeral karaoke'!!! only at a Joseph Holt's  pub would that work! Anyway Garron has agreed to come back on our First birthday party which if you don't already know is 17th February 2012 anyone wishing to perform on the night really needs to let me know asap. Hope to see you at next club night on 9th December as this will be the last club night for 2011 any party ideas welcome lv Lxx

Hiya gang, well what an absolutely brilliant night, a big thank you to our guest Vinny  T Spencer who didn't disappoint. Radical? from love songs, Irish folk, Lancashire folk he sang the lot , he really was excellent, plus a big thank you to Emma Runswich who sang  a couple of songs with Vinny. Hiya gang, hope you are all well. just a short reminder that this Friday 28th Oct is a guest night, our guest is Vinny T Spencer. Vinny is an excellent singer songwriter from Liverpool he comes highly recommended from Alun Parry, who went down a storm when he was a guest recently. Vinny is often refered to as a radical songwriter I don't thik so, he's a  brillient musician & a really nice person. Hiya gang, just a quick not to remind you this Friday (14th Oct) is a singers and musicians night ,floor singers are always welcome, Poor Sproggy is having a rotten time whilst training with new guide dog Korky who we will meet when he's ironed out all Ian's bad habits acquired with Johnny, now retied apart from treats and toys he can now play with we got him a gold disc with 'Johnny' on one side and 'New Cleveland folk dog' on the other, so people will know Johnny wasn't just a guide dog!! Hiya gang, hope everyone is well, this Friday 30th September is a guest night, our guest is Roydan Styles. Roydan has quite a following in the music scene, his music is more folk rock/pop, one of his claims to fame was a appearance on Tiswas when he was young playing a ukulele. If his appearance on North Manchester FM is anything to go by then he's certainly well worth seeing .Floor singers are always welcome, hope to see you there lv Lxx
