Club Update

Hiya gang,

just a short note to let you know this Friday 28th September is a club night and is a guest week. Our guest this week is renown singer/ musician from Derbyshire Carolanne Robinson accompanied by well known singer/musician Steve Woolley , both Steve and Carolanne play traditional, contemporary folk music as well as modern folk They are both singers and musicians in their own right, plus well known for performing at numerous folk festivals and music venues in Derbyshire and Manchester. Steve tells me he will also have guest musicians including an electric percussionist!! Definitely worth seeing . The club starts at 8.30 bar 11.30 hope to see you there luv Lxx

Hiya gang , thanks everyone for Friday night, and a big thanks to Ian & Steve for making it an entertaining and enjoyable night. Friday Night Review

Hiya gang, it's a shame a few of you were unable to make it last  due to previous engagements, but what a night of superb music you missed. The evening began with our very own Ian 'Sproggy' Sproson then Garron, Garron played in so many different styles including slide guitar, harmonica and also teamed up with other musicians Steve Woolley and two friends of Garrons, Keith and Polly too. An extremely entertaining night. Hiya gang, just a short note to let you know it's club night this Friday 31st August, and is a guest night. Our guest this week is the phenomenal Garron Frith, Garron came to our club last year after being referred by Claire  Mooney, and he didn't disappoint . Garron from Manchester, is a singer/songwriter as well as being a talented musician has an astounding array of musical styles, ranging from folk to blues and much more, he's also a really nice person too, definitely not to be missed. The club starts at 8.30pm be there early to get a seat, hope to see you then luv Lxx

Club Update

Hiya gang, hope you are all well, just a short note to let you know the club reopens again this Friday 17th August, after being closed briefy for summer holidays. This Friday is a singers, musicians and poets night. I'm sure you all know this but just in case you are reading this for the first time, this Friday is open for anyone to come along and sing, play an instrument or read poetry, whether you own works or someone else's it matters not, and even better if you are able to do all three, lol. The club is there as a forum for anyone to perform to a very laid back audience or just to be entertained, the club starts at 8.30pm. The next guest night is on 31st August when our guest will be the absolutely brilliant Garron Frith, you can see a preview of Garron if you click on guest video list below, hope to see you Friday luv Lxx
